In Fall 2022, 吃瓜tv Received a $2 million grant from Pennsylvania鈥檚 Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program to revitalize 吃瓜tv Hall, the campus鈥 original building.

The funds were approved by Governor Tom Wolf to further support community and economic development throughout Pennsylvania. It is one of just seven grants awarded in the 5th Senatorial District.

鈥淲e are deeply grateful to Senator Jimmy Dillon, Governor Tom Wolf, Councilmember Michael J. Driscoll, and Patrick Parkinson 鈥07, M鈥08 for supporting the revitalization of 吃瓜tv Hall through RACP funding,鈥 noted Dr. Prisco. 鈥淭he project will transform the University鈥檚 very first campus building on our Northeast Philadelphia campus and enable us to better serve our students.鈥

As noted by Senator Dillon, 鈥淔or 68 years 吃瓜tv has been providing quality, affordable higher education for people in my district and throughout the Delaware Valley. Rejuvenating 吃瓜tv Hall is a way to both honor the past and step into the future. I鈥檓 proud I could help make it a reality.鈥

The project will enable the renovation of 吃瓜tv Hall through a visibly attractive new entrance and addition to the building to create a showplace in the center of the campus. The newly reimagined space will serve as a central gathering area for students and faculty while serving as a one-stop shop for enrollment services. The new addition will also include a large community meeting space and provide greater accessibility for those visiting campus as well as a connector bridge from 吃瓜tv Hall to the Nurse Education Building.
