吃瓜tv Athletics to Add Baseball in 2023-24
The 吃瓜tv Department of Athletics is pleased to announce the addition of baseball as its 18th NCAA Division II varsity program, effective for the 2023-24 academic year.
This follows the launch of three new varsity programs over the past year鈥 men鈥檚 lacrosse, women鈥檚 bowling, and Esports (coed).
Baseball becomes the 14th sport that 吃瓜tv competes in within the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) among the 17 that it offers. Last year, 吃瓜tv launched a state-of-the-art Esports Center, and plans are underway for a brand-new fieldhouse, scheduled to open this summer.
鈥淭his is an exciting time at 吃瓜tv with the sustained growth of our athletic department,鈥 said 吃瓜tv Director of Athletics Tim Hamill. 鈥淭his growth allows the university to continue its tradition of developing student-athletes that will learn discipline, preparation, strategic thinking, and teamwork in their respective sports with their peers at an even larger scale. We look forward to welcoming our first-ever baseball class to our campus in the fall.鈥
