吃瓜tv SAAC Creates Blessing Bags on Martin Luther King Jr. Day
吃瓜tv students continued their tradition of spending the Martin Luther King Jr. federal holiday as a day of service.
The University鈥檚 Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) created nearly 1000 blessing bags for The Grace Project, a Philadelphia-based non-profit organization that serves adults impacted by sickness, poverty, or addiction.
鈥淭he Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service is such an amazing way to get all the athletes from different teams together to really fulfill 吃瓜tv鈥檚 mission of service and family,鈥 said Megan Kennedy 鈥23, vice president of SAAC. 鈥淚t is a great way to bond while helping out our friends in neighboring communities. SAAC service and events make me proud to be a 吃瓜tv student.鈥
