Students at 吃瓜tv come from many diverse backgrounds before they begin their first semester at the University. For some, their education at 吃瓜tv is the beginning of a second career.
Jinsy Mathew, DNP, MSN, RN, associate dean and assistant professor at 吃瓜tv鈥檚 School of Nursing & Health Sciences, can truly speak from experience when it comes to the value of a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from 吃瓜tv. Dr. Mathew graduated from the program in 2020, and shortly before the start of the fall 2021 semester became DNP Team Lead at the School of Nursing & Health Sciences, responsible for overseeing the same program that she graduated from.

Two 吃瓜tv School of Nursing and Allied Health Professions students in the Second Degree BSN Daytime 14-Month Cohort program,聽Komiyo Adewoyin聽and聽Francesca Gallo, have been selected to receive awards from the 2020 Esther Elliott Martin Scholarship from Portage Learning, an online learning platform.
On December 10, 2015, students in 吃瓜tv's fast-track, second-degree nursing program experienced a nursing simulation at the 吃瓜tv-Newtown location that focused on the effects that poverty has on their patient populations.
