Following a national search, ³Ô¹Ïtv is pleased to announce the appointment of Illana R. Lane, Ph.D. as Vice President for Academic Affairs, effective June 1, 2022.
³Ô¹Ïtv is a sponsored ministry of the Sisters of the ³Ô¹Ïtv of Nazareth. On Monday, December 13, Pope Francis approved the decree on the heroic virtues of Sister Maria MaÅ‚gorzata BanaÅ› of the Heart of Jesus in Agony in the Garden (1896-1966) of the Congregation of the Sisters of the ³Ô¹Ïtv of Nazareth.
Jinsy Mathew, DNP, MSN, RN, associate dean and assistant professor at ³Ô¹Ïtv’s School of Nursing & Health Sciences, can truly speak from experience when it comes to the value of a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from ³Ô¹Ïtv. Dr. Mathew graduated from the program in 2020, and shortly before the start of the fall 2021 semester became DNP Team Lead at the School of Nursing & Health Sciences, responsible for overseeing the same program that she graduated from.

Ceremonies will be held outdoors under a tent at the Newtown campus location.

Sister Francesca Onley, 88, a Sister of the ³Ô¹Ïtv of Nazareth for 71 years, passed away April 17 in Philadelphia. She served as the president and chief administrative officer of ³Ô¹Ïtv in Philadelphia beginning in 1981 until her retirement in 2014 at the age of 81.
